# Agreements

Agreements are non-commercial documents that formalize terms between you and your customers. Unlike sales contracts, agreements do not include line items, pricing, or payment terms.

## Common Agreement Types

* **Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)**: Protect confidential information shared between parties
* **Master Service Agreements (MSAs)**: Establish general terms and conditions governing your relationship
* **Data Processing Addendums (DPAs)**: Address data protection and privacy compliance requirements
* **Partnership Agreements**: Formalize collaborative relationships with partners or resellers
* **Service Level Agreements (SLAs)**: Define performance standards and commitments

## Key Differences from Sales Contracts

| | Sales Contracts | Agreements |
| ------------------------- | ------------------------------- | --------------------------- |
| **Purpose** | Revenue-generating transactions | Non-commercial terms |
| **Pricing** | Required pricing table | No pricing or payment terms |
| **Template requirements** | Pricing table + signature | Signature only |
| **Creates subscription** | Yes | No |

## Templates

Agreement templates use the same template system as sales contracts but with minimal requirements—only a signature field is mandatory. See [Contract Templates](/guides/contract-templates) for details on creating and managing templates.

## Workflow

Agreements follow the same creation and signing workflow as sales contracts:

1. Select an agreement template and associate with a customer
2. Complete any dynamic fields and save as draft or finalize
3. Share via direct link or email for signature
4. Agreement status automatically updates to "Executed" once signed
