How It Works

The integration calculates taxes seamlessly during your billing workflow. When an invoice is generated, Measure sends the line items and customer address to Numeral, which returns the applicable tax amounts based on your product mappings and the customer’s location. The calculated tax is committed as a recorded sale in Numeral once the invoice is finalized, and reversed automatically when a refund or credit note is issued. A complete customer billing address is required for tax calculation. Invoices without a valid address will not have tax applied.

Configuration

Connect Measure to Numeral using your Numeral API key. Once connected, map each Measure product to a Numeral tax category to ensure accurate treatment.

Product Tax Categories

Every product must have a mapping before invoices can be taxed. Unmapped products will cause tax calculation to be skipped for that line item.
