Measure supports contract renewals and mid-term plan changes, allowing you to transition customers to new terms while maintaining continuity.

Renewals

When you initiate a renewal from an existing subscription, Measure automatically carries over customer information and subscription terms as the baseline for the new contract. You can then adjust pricing, terms, or plans before sending for signature. Renewal reminders: Configure automated reminder emails to start the renewal process ahead of expiration. Set the timing (e.g., 90 days before expiration) and customize the messaging to align with your sales process.

Change Contracts

Change contracts formalize mid-term modifications such as upgrading tiers, adding seats, or adjusting commitment levels.
  • Differential pricing: Measure automatically calculates and displays the difference between the current plan and new plan, showing customers exactly what’s changing
  • Proration: Mid-term changes are prorated based on the remaining contract period, ensuring accurate billing for partial periods
  • Clear visibility: Generated contracts highlight plan differences for both your team and the customer, speeding up the approval process

Workflow

Both renewal and change contracts follow the same approval and signature workflows as standard contracts. If approval workflows are configured, these contracts route through your approval process before being sent to the customer.
