Measure Contracts offer flexible signature options providing full control over the approval process. Whether you need buy-in from multiple decision makers on the customer side or require internal approval before sending to customers, Measure supports complex signature workflows. Signature Options:
  • Up to 3 external signatures from the customer organization
  • Optional counter-signatures from internal signatories
  • Any combination of multiple signatories and counter-signatories
The same template can contain both “multiple” and “counter” signatory variables, allowing for complex approval chains.

Use Cases for Multi-Signature

Enterprise sales: Large deals often require sign-off from multiple stakeholders (CFO, legal, department heads) before commitment. Internal approval: Require internal company review and sign-off from your team (manager, legal, finance) before the contract is sent to customers. Joint agreements: Partnerships or affiliate agreements that require signatures from multiple organizations.

Multiple Signatories

Dynamic signatory management: Multi-signatory contracts automatically adapt based on the selected template, displaying the appropriate number of signatory fields to match template requirements. Comprehensive signatory information: Each signatory can be configured with complete details including name, title, and email information for proper contract execution and communication. Template-driven workflow: The signatory section dynamically adjusts to show the exact number of signature fields defined in the selected template, ensuring consistency across contract types.

Counter Signatories

Internal approval integration: Counter-signatory functionality enables internal company approval workflows by allowing selection of any Measure user as an internal signatory. User-friendly selection: Counter-signatory templates provide dropdown selection from your company’s Measure users, streamlining the internal approval assignment process. Flexible approval workflows: Templates can be configured to require counter-signatures for contracts that need internal sign-off before customer execution.

Notes

  • Signatures can be collected in any order but all must be collected for the contract to be considered fully executed
  • Any of the external signatories can provide payment information if collection of payment information is required
    • If none of the signatories are the payer, the signatories can share the payment link with the payer after signing the contract
